   Training and experience

  • I am a fifth-year trainee student on the Masters in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC).

  • As well as working in private practice I have volunteered as a counsellor at The Swan Project, a low-cost counselling service supporting people with addictions and other mental health difficulties.

  • My background is in publishing and academia with a PhD in social anthropology. I have extensive experience in Latin America working with different cultural groups and researching family relations, social identities and migration.

  • I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and have regular supervision with a BCPC- and UKCP-accredited supervisor.

  • I speak good Spanish - I do not currently hold sessions just in Spanish but my knowledge of the language helps develop greater understanding with Spanish-speaking clients.
